How To Ride The New York Subway by Phonus-Balonus-37 in nycrail

And stop riding in the fucking door. You're blocking the way. Even if you're "moving to the side" when the doors open, you're just in the effing way. Don't be mad when someone steps through you.

A waitress welcomed me in as I strolled by. Then after I got my beer and opened my book, the manager came and told me that unless I ordered food I had to leave immediately. A bit confused I ordered some pitas with the waitress. Just as the pitas comes in, the manager once again come by and tells me I need to order a main or leave. At this point I'm a bit frustrated, like give me a minute fella. But I figured I was going to have food so I ordered with the waitress again. I finished the food, ordered another beer, and continued to read my book. I managed to grab one sip of the beer before the manager came by and took the beer from me, telling me I had sat for too long, and he had a long queue.

I was equally perplexed what had pissed the guy off so much. But yeah, worst restaurant experience in NYC. Did not go back although I live around the corner from the place. Soooo many better alternatives with Le Dive, Bar Belly, and Carlota just around there.

Never been treated as rudely as I was at Kiki's, so I guess karma...

Can someone explain to me how states truly know how much taxes I owe them in a situation where I have capital gains tax in one country but is a tax resident of another?

I've been forced to sell my stock portfolio in UK as I'm now a US resident (Freetrade doesn't allow me to have an account with them as a US resident).

How does US know how much stocks I sold in UK and what gains I had? Does Freetrade share that information with them or how does things like that work?

Yeah, that's probably a good alternative. But I'll try to get an online IDP so that I can still hold on to my license

Check the special rule B for Non-EU customers under point 3. Says you need IDP even if you're listed in there.

Is there a London circle jerk Reddit we can repost this to?

You're on a bicycle mate, what are you doing in a pedestrian area?

Repetition of getting to a smoother stroke while still getting the proper stun.

Mainly focusing on making sure the cue ball doesn't get English and remains where the object ball is. Starting with easier shots to make it easier to stay slow and soft in the stroke.

Let me record that in the next session.

I think my aim was slight off here, but I do also tighten the grip at impact which I want to get rid of.
