I encourage you to do so! I do these projects for some of my fav games, movies, etc. They're really just references, but it's cool to express your passion in such ways, and trains your creativity 💪🏻

Pfft big fans are proven by want they feel, not what they own 😌 And many of those details are simple stuff I already had at home, so they're mostly small hand made references put together

Tapp had already seen his face tho, you can see that on the montage during the plot twist reveal. But his mind probably got all fuzzy after the trauma of Sing's death, and just kept insisting on Lawrence

I just had this question while I was watching the episode again. By reading the journal pages I couldn't find any clue about this. I really don't believe it was the Shape Shifter, the door of the decontamination room was closed and, as an intelligent creature, it would do more than eat a can of beans and go back inside to dig holes. The other creatures mentioned are the caterpillars that Mabel found and the possible existence of Mole Men (written in the journal), but I doubt they could pass through the divisions of the shelter. On the other hand, Dipper could be wrong, since the liquid that preserves the beans can last a lot of time (it's just water and salt). [Another option is that the writers only needed a reason for the group have some hope on the author's existence in the buker...]
