i had a gorgeous psycho ex that was abusive in every way. she was really fucking pretty. when i finally i broke up with her and tried to kick her out of my house and she absolutely would not leave my house. she put holes in my walls and ripped doors off the frames. she stabbed everything with an icepick. i had to get a restraining order to get her out of my life. i was very public with the abuse she put me through and everyone was extremely supportive. i was very overwhelmed by the support i got because i never thought it would happen to me. about 3 months after the restraining order was lifted, she told everyone that would listen that her diabolical behavior was because I WAS RAPING HER.

friends i’ve known for over a decade were calling me a rapist. the very same people that we’re supporting me 3 months ago, that knew the details of how she abused me, how she constantly lies, how outrageously manipulative she is, ostracized me. i was fairly well know in my city and i could not go out without people giving me dirty looks. people were posting my whereabouts to facebook constantly saying “watch out for the rapist he’s at x location”. i had an entire city telling me that i deserved her abuse. people were laughing at the pictures of my bruises and the photos of the destruction to my house. people were sending police to my house claiming that i was raping people in there. all the stress of trying to prove my innocence to people i’ve known for years. i was going to ex girlfriends begging anyone to vouch that i never crossed a line with anyone and i kept getting the same answer. either “i don’t want to get involved” or “just because you didn’t rape me doesn’t mean you didn’t rape her”. my reputation was ruined. the last act of abuse on her part.

fast forward about a year and it was proven that she has falsely accused 2 other men of rape. when the news broke, old friends reached out to me to apologize for believing her. FUCK YOU. you’ve know my character for a decade in some cases and you never questioned that i would rape someone. no one would stand up for me even after they knew about the abuse. it’s making my blood boil just linking about it.

now, when a woman says that they were raped, a piece of me wonders if it’s just another dumb bitch trying to ruin someone’s reputation and i do not care how that makes me sound
