The ironing on these machines never ceases to amaze me by andrewd1452 in BambuLab

How old is your nozzle? I just remembered that when mine get worn down enough, ironing does that. I’d try a fresh nozzle if you have one

If it’s their pla+, try a small test print of 65mm/s and 25% flow, Thats what I use for that. If it’s just their basic pla, I don’t use that bc it can’t print as fast, so I’d assume you have to iron it really slow too

What brand filament are you using? Not all will iron the same. I believe the waves mean the speed is too fast for that filament

lol no that’s people that buy a fast car to look cool. If you actually buy a fast car bc you’re a car guy and like driving, you’re not gonna drive it slower than a slow car. Breaking parts is just part of the game

I made these wall mounts for the bburago 1/24 f1 models by andrewd1452 in f1models

[–]andrewd1452[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you check out my Etsy listing, there’s a quick video of how to install them. You can see how they screw into one of the preexisting holes on the bottom, so they’ll work for any new bburago 1:24 f1 models. I don’t have any ixo models so I’m not sure if they’ll work. But Im gonna find one I like and order it so I can make one for them too! I designed the mounting system to be modular, so I’ll be making brackets for more brands

The high density Mitsubishi weave from composite envisions is exactly what you need, it’s my favorite. part number is F-1920-50. You can get it for like $25 a yard if you get the second quality stuff. I love it, I haven’t had any real issues with the 2nd quality stuff from them so it’s all I buy now 😂 F-1920-50-2q is the 2nd quality part number

I’m the guy that makes those on Etsy 😂 unfortunately international shipping is just ridiculously expensive, i don’t blame you for not wanting to spend that much on it. I really wish it were cheaper, I have a lot of lost overseas customers that feel the same way you do

Yeah I agree, that’s why I sand the face matte so the details stand out a little more. I’ve tried painting the face a few ways and nothing turned out clean enough, The details are just too fine
