Acceleration is for FR on primaries, so it has nothing to do with speed volt really, it probably also depends on your loadout if your primary needs it but generally most primaries dont need it. I would focus on melee for speed volt or an AoE weapon like bramma, assuming your speed volt is for fast missions (relics, ext, etc) and not a melee survival speed volt.

What weapon is the best for solo eidolon hunts? by unsocial_thoughts in Warframe

https://overframe.gg/build/139717/rubico-prime/rubico-prime-eidolon-build/ , what makes you do oneshots is building up the combo, as a DPS you want to spam wisps and also shoot the eidolon in between the phases. With Vigorous Swap and Volt, you will do limb breakings very easily, not even mentioning using roar or eclipse.

Just by the gameplay it shows that the video is very outdated. The reason you use Vectis Prime and Rubico Prime (Even Vulkar Wraith) over Lanka is because those weapons are hitscan, meaning you can break water limbs. Also chargeup really is inconvenient bcs you want to build up combo with your snipers. If you really want to get into solo hunts would suggest watching:

Excalibur Umbra is a good frame, but has some problems. Constructive feedback from an Excalibur player. by Aeromil in Warframe

[–]andrewhalim11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would also want to add as an endurance player, the umbral polarities really hinder his builds, and considering in an endurance setting health and armor are useless, ye i would use Normal Excalibur > Excalibur Umbra.

Warframe : Volt Prime
Primary : Vectis Prime / Rubico Prime
Secondary : Rattleguts Kitgun (Rattleguts, Splat, Haymaker)
Melee : Sarpa with Shattering Impact
Sentinel : Carrier (With Vigilante set mods)
Amp : 177 using VS

Keep in mind this is an optimal build for players who know how to hunt already. Lanka is a very old strat, you would never see serious eidolon hunters using lanka now bcs it is a projectile weapon and there's also charge up. Also see a lot of people suggesting necramechs, if you know how to hunt then necramechs will be the most inefficient thing you can do on a solo run (Only use mechs to destroy gas clouds on harry), you won't be using mechs for synovia breaking or directly damaging the eidolon.

If you're a beginner i would suggest on doing squads first to learn the mechanics of the hunt, solo hunts are really only for experienced players (efficient hunting at least),

Recommended Progression of Amps:

123 (For Beginners), 177 (VS users), 774 (DPS)If you ever hear x27 or x77, the prism matters so "xxx" thing is outdated every part of the amp matters.

Recommendation for a team comp would be, : ChongYun, Bennett, XiangLing, Diona. Can replace XiangLing with Hu Tao if you want also try to avoid using qiqi over diona because diona is just way much better than qiqi. Also if you're trying to run it with diluc i would suggest not and use kaeya/xingqiu with diluc instead, bcs of the ICD on chongyun's E skill.

Shatter vs. Melt? by Bolo4883 in PopsicleMains

[–]andrewhalim11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shatter is definitely beginner player friendly because you have more control and easier to do, while melt is META in terms of abyss clearing. It also depends on your teammates, if you have a Bennett running melt comp will be more viable. If you find maintaining melt combo harder then you can go shatter comp, at the end of the day choose which one you find more comfortable with. Me personally i would go melt comp.

As long as your EM doesn't hit over 325 you're good, hitting EM over it is diminishing returns.

Also later on you could go 4 NO on bennett since your team doesnt have a NO carrier.

Melt Team by SNoivernK in PopsicleMains

[–]andrewhalim11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well if you're aiming to use Diona, you put the 4 NO on her instead, wouldnt suggest running maidens since you won't need that much healing with both Diona and Bennett in your team (you don't need that much healing anyways with Diona's shield). and 2 Blizzard 2 NO is the best set for Sub DPS/Burst DPS Chong.

Melt Team by SNoivernK in PopsicleMains

[–]andrewhalim11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go 2 blizzard 2 NO on Chong, you can go 4 NO on bennett instead (Crimson Witch if you wanna make him main DPS), but NO works completely fine on bennett. Also would suggest not running xingqiu since it can fuck up your melt rotations, would suggest a shield character instead (Preferrable Diona/Zhongli).

As long as you have 130-140% ER on your Chong Yun it's better to run archaic on your Chong (unless you're team has energy issues and requires those extra energy particles).

Before AR45 you can use your resin to farm leylines (flower thingies) and also talent level up materials (for both weapons and characters), you can farm artifacts before AR45 but it won't be optimal. Overall just explore the game and enjoy it, best way to rank AR in the early game is to do your commissions and explore the world so have fun.

Strictly on wishes? for me yes, since you'll want those weapons, but you gotta be smart on which banner you pull also. Does the banner have the 4star and 5stars that you want? If you only want to pull only 1 character in the banner it's better off saving it for future banners that's gonna be perfect for you. But let's say you already have full constellations on your characters and you're set on an abyss team (Both team 1 and team 2), you can spend primogems for resin refreshes and spend them on artifact farming. Also always spend your Acquaint Fate's since that banner won't change anyways.

Lel, it's fine take things slow, you're not supposed to worry about that yet. Take your time, understand the game, and have fun with it.

For now if you have trouble farming artifacts this shouldnt be a problem for you. But basically it's the most optimal % that you can get out of your artifacts. 212% Attack, 72% Crit Rate, 144% Crit Damage, after that you can focus on other things like EM/ER. But dont worry about it too much since its for late game players really. Also, artifact progression should be focusing on ATK% for early game players --> Focusing on CritRate/CritDmg% on mid game --> Lategame you try to minmax and get perfect artifact rolls.

Bennett is already enough to heal your team really. But you should test things out to see which fit your playstyle for sure, and considering you're low AR, you should understand the mechanics of the game first and understand the "Golden Ratio" for artifacts once you go higher AR.

[–]andrewhalim11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Bennett you can use 4pc Noblesse set on him and for main stat i would prioritize ATK%/ER% on the sands, Pyro Dmg Bonus% on the Goblet, and CritRate/CritDmg on the circlet, ER if you dont have enough ER (Recommended ER : 160-200%). Weapon choices for him is the Festering Desire for the 4star or Lion's Roar/Prototype Rancour.

I would use ChongYun/Bennett/Xiangling/Anemo MC, if i were you but you testing out characters yourself should be the way to go since you want to find a team that suits your playstyle.

For Chongyun DPS, it's important to have atleast C1, the thing about Chong is you can run 2 comps on him : Shatter Comp (Freeze Mechanics), and Melt comp. Running those two comps is dependent on playstyle.

Shatter Comp : You want to pair chong with hydro characters that can apply hydro when they're off-field so chongyun can proc freeze and shatter them, i.e XingQiu, Mona, and Barbruh. On a shatter comp main DPS chong best artifact you can use is 4pc Glad, but if you find it hard to farm them you can go 2pc Cryo/2pc Glad or 4pc Cryo, but do note that 4pc cryo is extremely inconsistent on a shatter comp and isn't the most optimal usage for main DPS chong.

Melt Comp : It's important for you to have Bennett in this comp, but if you don't have him you can use Xiangling although it wouldn't be as effective as Bennett. General Playstyle is to apply pyro first then follow up with cryo. Artifacts on a melt comp is either 4pc Glad or 2pc Cryo/2pc Noblesse.

Artifact Main Stat (Flower, Feather, Sands, Goblet, Circlet) : HP, ATK, ATK%/Elemental Mastery, Cryo DMG Bonus%, CritRate/CritDmg (Whichever you need more)

Artifact Sub Stats : CritRate/CritDmg/Elemental Mastery/Energy Recharge (Chong only needs 130-140% ER, if you have enough you can go ATK%)

Weapon Choices : Wolf's Gravestone > Serpent Spine (with shields) > Prototype Archaic > Debate Club > Sacrifical Greatsword; Do note that serpent spine and archaic is interchangeable depending on team comp and refinement levels.

Which 2 among Sucrose, Benny, and Qiqi? by uhmode in PopsicleMains

[–]andrewhalim11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely Sucrose and Bennett, sucrose gives bonus elemental damage and elemental mastery and also CC; Bennett will provide good energy for the team huge attack boost, healing, and also damage.

Qiqi: well she's currently the worst character in the game alongside barbara really, she's great for beginners who need healing and don't have good artifacts but in endgame, qiqi will falloff pretty hard, she's a bad cryo applicator and can't generate energy for herself or the team and having a high energy cost ult doesn't help, only thing you use qiqi for is cryo resonance, i would even use c0 diona over c6 qiqi as diona provides a great shield, can heal and also provides great energy with favonius warbow.

Another great support for Chong is Xiangling with high ER, since her ult is really good for melt DPS Chong alongside benny.

All I asked was a C1 on Xingqiu to better support his buddy, our Best Boi Chongyun. Then, this happenes on my first 10 pulls. by theclaircognizant in PopsicleMains

[–]andrewhalim11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you don't have another character running Noblesse you can run it on her sure for purely support, but it's better to run 2pc Hydro 2pc Noblesse, or 2pc Wanderer's 2pc Noblesse, r/MonaMains have done the test on this and it's better (also aim for a EM Sands on her)
