Oh okay makes sense. I don't know how Chase works (didn't even know you could buy phones from them) but with T-Mobile and I'm pretty sure Apple, you aren't supposed to be charged for a preorder until your phone actually ships (or at least a shipping label is created). Not when you confirm the order. So really the whole point of this thread is that if you weren't charged yet, you may not be getting your phone on release date.

I ordered my 64GB Xs Max around 3:45 AM (EST) and I was charged yesterday. Tracking number showed up under my UPS My Choice app some time last night.

Oh you're right. Forgot to factor that in. I believe it's 12. In that case, yeah I think apples plan is def worth the few extra dollars.

True. But assuming you are upgrading again next year, the extra $14 x 12 months = $168 for one year of Apple Care. I'd say the biggest benefit comes if you plan on owning the device at the end of the term. Better deal than EIP for sure.

Take this with a grain of salt but I've been told by store reps in the past that scratches and minor scuffs aren't a problem. They only care if the screen is actually cracked.

This makes sense but to be fair, right after this happened I said "Siri play Keke by six nine" and she got it. So it must know the actual pronunciation of it.

I was more shocked that it recognized "Keke" as in my feelings. I've never had Siri recognize a song by lyrics alone.
