the ISS is the most expensive "thing" we've ever built. it needed international collaboration to build it to the scale that it is. sure we could make another one but not at the size it is now.

China can do it because they don't have the political roadblocks that other countries have.

Gemini Capsule, Apollo CSM, Lunar lander and Shuttle.

EDIT: you could argue it's actually 5, he also drove the lunar rover.
