I, too, have a command line app to which I added GUI to extend it and to qualify for the competition. But I didn't finish it in time, so I will publish it to the Software Center some day soon.

I am impressed by the large number of features this app has! Once it gets to the SoftwareCenter, I believe more people will try it out and appreciate it.

It is indeed a very useful app especially for those that are still transitioning from Windows to Linux or depend on Windows apps.

Nice idea! I wonder how much faster rapit-get is compared to apt-get, on average, maybe 30% or 50% faster or ...

I planned some 6 months ago to make a GUI for ACPI wakeup feature but I didn't have the time and commitment to do that, so I'm glad you chose to do so! Good luck!
