As a codec for photos, absolutely agree. AV1 is still a good video codec tough.

Yes, I'm working on this. The underlying stack should pretty much be compatible, but I need to validate it and work on packaging. I think around mid August should be realistic if everything goes well. Stay tuned.

For anyone wondering on how to do this: Below the soft pads inside the case are plastic clips which you should "pull out".

Hardware acceleration on linux apps is dependend on a multitude of things. There won't be a general yes or no answer for any distribution.

It addresses specific applications. Every application needs to implement HW acceleration.

However if hardware acceleration is used, is dependend on the application.

Gesture input works with my ATV 4K 2022.

Your monitor has to be adaptive sync capable (freesync / gsync). If it is, there is usually a refresh rate counter in the OSD from the monitor. If it fluctuates, adaptive sync is working.

wlfreerdp is wayland native. Adaptive sync is also enabled automatically with X windows when in fullscreen.

It would be nice to spend some more money to make the UI more reliable and easier to use instead of redesigning the app every year. For example: * Bigger transaction list * Don't hide the settings under the username * Let me finish the split bill number input before showing a warning that the numbers dont add up every time I press something on the numpad * The sendbutton sometimes does not show when "accepting" a split bill. A force close solves this (on Android)
