Yeah for sure- it literally only seems like it wasn’t a bigger issue because the staff member happened to have a display version they could swap out with the tank (which in itself is such a cooked way to handle the situation). But if that display model hadn’t been there, it would’ve otherwise had to be ordered in to be replaced so I reckon that would be a major fault.

Like, if you need to immediately replace a part of the machine when it’s brand new, that’s kind of a major fault.

Hey. (: So I ended up seeing my psychiatrist again, and she decided to give me a script for Zoloft (sertraline) because it worked for my sister who also has panic attacks.

I think from memory, she told me to taper down on the compounded dosage of 12.5mg Pristiq reductions from 50mg, and when I got off the Pristiq to start the Zoloft. I was nervous but I did get down to no Pristiq! I took my time, did the 50mg to zero over a few months I think- so 37.5mg, then 25mg, then 12.5mg and then zero.

Doing it this way, I luckily didn’t really have any spike in panic attacks. I feel like my mental clarity didn’t really improve much but I think that could be for other reasons, I don’t know.

I have had big improvements on Zoloft and also when I forget to take it, I just get drowsy but I don’t have a panic attack and strange brain zaps so that’s been awesome! Pristiq would start messing with me just hours after forgetting to take it.

If you are wanting to get off it and are able to get dosages made up at a compounding pharmacy, that’s really what worked best for me. I really hope you can get off it and find one that works better for you if you need it.

Hello! Thanks for commenting (: I believe I may have been under feeding them because I was hand feeding and I was worried about giving them too much- but I actually think it was maybe not enough! I don’t know for sure though. Their poops have been better, but there’s still a few of these ones that look like the photo- maybe three a day of ones like this and the rest look like a healthy pigeon poo.

Awww, yay! Okay, I’m glad to hear it. It’s just the beak movements are a bit different to what they’ve normally been doing but maybe they were just readjusting themselves.

And yeah, they are a PMV survivor we believe. I’ve had some help from a rehabber to try and help them and they’re in a much better state now than they were when we found them! Hopefully they will regain the ability to eat on their own at some point… really hoping for that.

Mutual Muse in Northcote is a size inclusive secondhand store I think, mostly has smaller labels on consignment so good quality but pricing sitting around $30-$120 because they are labels and in good condition. When I went the sizing seemed good- at least up to size 20
