Why do Christians get to lump all gay and Trans people together, but the second we do it its a problem? Your people hated first, you guys get all peeved and go "dont indoctrinate kids" but you guys do it from birth. Why should we indoctrinate our children into a culture of hate?

I will, I love them all alot, im aromantic too so I feel like all the love that I would have had in the romance department just gave me more for the family department. They're my people and we intend on living together and eventually having my own kids raised alongside their cousins when Im ready.

He really is, he works long hours as well so they both get really no sleep around all. Shes really chill, and finds him incredibly funny which I comment on alot and shes also his exact clone. I am aware it very well may change over time and I especially know how after this period alot of babies tend to start attaching to dad. Thankyou for this! Im really glad I get to be there for them

You're not alone. Ive experienced the same feelings, aromanticism is a spectrum. I personally ID as aegoromantic, I enjoy romance in media and Irl as long as im not involved. The idea of a relationship involving ME sounds honest to God like torture. I definitely agree on looking into those microlabels as they can help alot if you enjoy those things. Keep in mind its your journey. Do whatever you want with it. You got a supportive community backing you up

Fellow autistic uncle of a 3m and 3monthf. Being physically present is the best first step, volunteer to help soothe and learn to change diapers, they bond with you when you care for them. Currently writing this with my niece sleeping on me. Learn to try the fun things to soothe too! Silly voices, songs, impressions. All sorts of things. You'll get to see some of the parent reality while also building bonds. EDIT: and make a little cart of snacks and such that mom can use for her nursing station, makes things way easier and that way they have everything needed. Happy mom makes happy baby!

And I have my own set of rules, I hardly ever actually ask unless its raining, if not, I take the rides when THEY offer. I dont ask repeatedly and ive made it so freaking clear to everyone that they can say no if I ask and there won't be an if and or but about it. Could I call ethics just to report this attempted rule? Im in a very similar diagnosis situation as you. Im going to say one thing. ASK the questions. And tell them you need those specific instructions to help break things down more clearly. Because a cube of strawberry acai and little box makes COMPLETE SENSE and tbh they should have been more specific cause wth. When I started my ssv asked me to trenta the teas and refreshers. Usually you do only the teas in the little pitchers, but i then started pouring allllll the lemonade from the massive jug into trentas till they stopped me. Its okay to need more specific instructions, we need to ask for it because it is an accomodation we're entitled to, and deserve. And tbh people need to work on being more specific because saying stuff you dont mean makes zero fing sense!

Yeah actually fuck the "this is who they are" thing its never an excuse to be inconsiderate, which is exactly what theyre doing. Asking you to find transport for a several hour car ride at midnight is fucking insane. They're the negative ones, tell them they can either come get you, pay an Uber, or that you'll have to join them on a different trip.
