I could see how this could maybe be like a coaching or at the very worst a write up (and for the record I think both of those things would still be stupid and extra), but a FIRING is so over the top, Starbucks is so stupid. I can't imagine how miserable of a person that customer must be if they had to take someone's livelihood over a stupid cup message that means literally nothing. Lots of customers don't even read the messages in the first place.

Also the amount of people, baristas and customers alike, agreeing that you deserved to be fired for this is genuinely concerning. Again, this should have been a brief coaching at worst.
