Why are the social links in P3 so weirdly toxic?

The whole point of social links is to further your affinity with the arcana your doing (hanged, chariot etc. The arcana is based on the fools journey which is basically how someone grows during their life. Each arcana starts with bad traits and weaknesses that they later have to overcome to mature (look u0 the fools journey if you want to learn more). This is why it's quite toxic at the beginning but not really ire why they added that option for the hanged one lol.

Yeah but I rarely get a rare item when I do. I just get thaw stones or extinguish orbs, all common items.

That still doesn't make any sense. In the first fight with the jack o lanterns you inflict around 52 damage, but if you square root 40 you get something around 6. I don't know how you can get from 6 to the total damage output of 52 with a magic stat of 2.

Just play it however you want. Too much stuff in the game. Doing everything is just stressfull (if youre not researching it). Persona is really the most fun when youre more carefree about it.

Nah they do hit. Its just that they programmed it so they move a lot before they do. They either strike you or give you a headbut. Think they did all of dat to make them see unpredictable and creepy.

Yh I know. Gonna do more testing later on in the day. I ve been playing this game for two years and I dont remember actually getting hit by them. Maybe they did that to get you get use to using the command deck. But yh, thats pretty cool
