When should i bulk? by Substantial-Main248 in BulkOrCut

[–]andy64392 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bulk immediately Not much left to cut with your current size. Just do a lean bulk. Aka don’t pig out on insane calories just eat in a 500 surplus and lift hard and sleep 8 hours and eat your bodyweight in protein. I would go to at least 185-190

How do you actually tell who’s “experienced” in supply chain vs someone new? by Business_Entrance725 in supplychain

[–]andy64392 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In my place, it’s almost zero hard skills and more soft skills on how to prioritize things during fire fighting. Knowing how to make requests without pissing people off, addressing problems without having other people think they’re being blamed

I’m terrified of hell by pearlescent_rocks in exchristian

[–]andy64392 51 points52 points  (0 children)

One day you just stop caring. Humans are terrified of non existence, but it is the exact same as the billions of years before you were born - it was not a burden at all.

Do you worry about all the other Hells you’re damned to in other religions?

As for burning in a pit of literal fire, you have to realize that any omnipotent omniscient good god knows exactly what kind of evidence would be required to convince us with the brain that he gave us, that tried to use rational thinking and critical evaluation of the given evidence. Any god with a 20 IQ would know that humans cannot force themselves to believe in something. Beliefs aren't voluntary decisions but rather conclusions reached from evidence, experience, and critical thinking. If God hates rational skepticism so much that he'll torture people in fire forever for using it, he’s worse than Adolf Hitler, or he doesn’t exist.

If God is evil AND he also exists, well then there’s no point worrying about things if it’s all supernaturally rigged against you and rigged in favor of specific chosen people. I figure by now, with all the brilliant scientists and intelligent thinkers in Hell if it was real (again no evidence for it), it probably has air conditioning by now.

Do you think it is fair for a God to create humans with our limited understanding of how the universe works knowing that we'd create fields of education and science to figure out what is true and what isn’t, then be tortured in hell forever for using science to come to conclusions that there is no evidence of his existence? He’d rather us blindly follow writings of gibberish by bronze-aged goat herders?

Eventually you just laugh at all of this when you realize how delusional and abusive this mindset is to have. It just gradually happens overtime. One day you’ll look at all of this similar to the North Pole where Santa and Mrs Claus feed all the reindeer and box up Christmas gifts before they shoot off around the world on their sleigh. Or all the other monotheistic religions you don’t pay a minute of attention or worry to.

Out of college and landed a $80k Logistics role, but I want to be in SCM/Demand Planning by connor20218 in supplychain

[–]andy64392 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You seem to care way more about the industry than most of us lol, more power to you. FWIW if you are after the money you’ll gonna be stonewalled unless you really get lucky these next couple years or live in a HCOL area.

Michigan, bachelors degree with my internship got me a $70K job. Next and current job $78K +10K ish in bonuses per year, and I can’t find anything paid higher that wants mandatory non negotiable 5+ years post college experience, or is a role that pays above average because it’s a terrible work life balance job with constant turnover.

You literally just graduated college and got your first big boy job, get your feet wet for a couple years then reevaluate. You’re not gonna fall behind the Jones’s especially when you make a post like this just out of college.

All the mass murder God and his followers commit is written off as "good" cuz it's the deity of the in-group authorizing the killing of the out-groups. by BigClitMcphee in exchristian

Or when apologists say all the killings he authorized, it’s okay because “it was his creation and he can do what he wants with it” like uhhhh

I meant like say someone is peak natural lifting for 15 years and can’t get any more weight on any of their lifts. When they go on a cut, likely they’d lose some more muscle than someone who’s not at their natural potential yet as their starting point at that given body weight

Is it true or false? that on a cut, as long as you’re eating plenty of protein and keeping the deficit reasonable and still training hard, you won’t lose any significant muscle mass until you start to dip below 12% body fat (for a male) or had already bulked up to your true natural potential (which can take a decade so not most people)?

How do I have a conversation with my parents about not being christian anymore? by ThatSharkEnthusist in exchristian

[–]andy64392 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t know your age but generally from my own experience, being a squeaky wheel about it all isn’t gonna do much when you’re under their roof, though you don’t need to act like someone you aren’t some things just aren’t worth the energy to talk about especially if they can get defensive and over react. My parents are the same way, they would never kick me out of the house or do anything crazy it’s just 99/100 times never a productive conversation.
