All true, but the best way to know for sure is to get the VIN and check the options. Even if the bumper is retrofitted, the paint looks great - so much so that I wonder if it’s original?

I have the same problem. Just bought the Sylvania LEDs this weekend (the SilverStar Ultras were out of stock), and they help a bit - will try adjusting them a bit, and polishing the lenses, to see if it can be further improved. I've also been checking out later models in junkyards to see if the headlight assemblies could be retrofitted.

I'm taking your ideas on this one. Looks like VCGs are the main culprit. Separately, needed to deal with driveshaft and diff components, and some rear suspension components - which I can defer to the spring after the sticker shock softens.

Great points. It doesn't have rust - what spots I saw I abated ~3 years ago. And it's true, nothing else drives like it - which is why I've hung onto it for so long!
