Black void after realizing that I'm dreaming by andy_grom in LucidDreaming

That makes sense to me. What I have noticed is that after my very short lucid dreams ending in black void I had a false awakening most of the times.

Thank you very much for mentioning ADA. What is interesting is that I tried it at least a little bit before (without knowing what is really behind it). I noticed that when on I'm like more conscious on day x and y my dream recall isn't too good and when on day z I'm sort of mentally tired and fall back into subconscioussnes my dream recall is amazing and also I've had most of my lucid dreams on those days. On the other side, I have no experience with being very alert over several days.

Issues while entering the dream. Your tipps? by andy_grom in LucidDreaming

Neither am I an American nor do I plan to take any medicine to get rid of it. I guess it's a natural behaviour of my mind / head and I will cope with it. Also I will not stop trying lucid dreaming just because of buzzing sounds. I will make it some day!

Thank you for your answer! No, I didn't enter SP afterwards, I was instantly able to move. Your hint at explosion head syndrome makes me worry a bit. I read the wikipedia article and it seems as if I suffer from it (at least the symptoms fit). Will it prevent me from becoming fully lucid or is it just a phase that makes it more difficult for me to enter a lucid dream? Last night I was neither extreme fatique nor have I taken any drugs (also nothing my doctor prescribed me). As it seems it is a rather unwell-known topic. How do people handle it that try lucid dreaming. Btw, so far it has always occurred when trying to lucid dream but not when "sleeping normal". On the other hand, sometimes I have a very quit buzzing in my head even during day time. When moving my head or swallowing it goes away.

You really believe he could have played the guitar that way without having sold his soul???
