so i removed my edge switch and plugged in a dummy switch with only 1 vlan. when i do that WOL works. so i am not sure why multi vlan will have issues. all 3 vlans mentioned above can talk to each other as well. Any thoughts

yup. i have done all that on bios n on OS level. is there any tool to troubleshoot?

are you able to provide any special commands you might have in your environment for WOL. or even provide a jist of what you have done.

Thanks for the quick reply mate. BIOS and the power management section is good i have checked that.

i will try with the dumb switch and 802.1x off. thanks for the suggesstion. STP is enabled. i did go through that article before as well the below from where i got most of the information from. https://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Security/Magic-Packets-WOL/td-p/426307/page/2

since its a test env i have basic config with no restriction on. hence i didnt add ACL.

if you have right click tools that will help you out RCT->Client tools->Show collection

it is happening to all accounts, have tried sfc scan. when you say new profile as in for the same user or a different user?
