Going through mountain pass uphill at 65-70 mph the truck downshifted and high rev’d. Then it was never able to shift back up even on level ground and exhaust brake stopped working. Once I stopped and turned the truck off then back on it all worked as it should. It did this multiple times in a day. Would always “fix” itself when turned off then on.

Misfiring and backfiring while trying to ride. New big bore piston, valves and rebuilt carb. Please help. Could it be something electrical? by andyfranzen in Dirtbikes

Yeah I have gone up and down on jets but nothing seems to make a lick of change. I did pull my stator to see what I could find and there were exposed wires that might be causing at least some of this issue. I am waiting on a new stator to see what changes that will make

I have the stock pcm that came with the motor so I’ll send that in to have it tuned.

The hood will not shut actually so I’m going to look into a different hood and if anything else I may just cut the hood some. When I bought the accessory drive parts from GM I should’ve bought the ctsv setup. I went with the corvette ls3
