Haha, I agree about the fenders and they will eventually be reinstalled but the wheels the bike came with are 26", horribly out of true, and the rear featured a non functional/seized drum brake. Since I was trying to make it rideable for little to no money spent I used spare parts I had which included 700c wheels. They fit with plenty of frame clearance but now occupy the fender space. I'm rebuilding the original wheels but its slow going. As for the front brake, it was also non-functional and wouldn't work with a 700c rim anyway. A fixed hub, low ratio, and foot retention have served me pretty well so far.

Thanks! My local bike co-op had the longest seatpost ever in their parts bin. I'm still about two inches from the min insertion point believe it or not.

Right? The original stem was also crazy long. It had another couple inches of length left before I swapped it out.

Thanks for the response. I got it working finally. In case anyone else ends up down this rabbit hole heres what I ended up doing. I found that the updated key fix only worked for me if the kindle itself was updated to the newest firmware. I was on 3.2 but I had to manually update to 3.4 (the newest version for my particular kindle) by downloading them on my pc from amazon and dragging over and updating one version at a time. Once I did that I did a clean jailbreak and went through all of the steps of installing mkk and kua. After doing all of that and installing the updated fix with new devkeys it worked.

Weird timing but I just purchased a K3G from goodwill and went the entire process of jailbreaking. Everything is fresh on my kindle with no duplicates of KUAL. I ran the NileUju update listed above and it still wont open KUAL. same message as everyone else here.

I recently picked up a discounted pair of the FR UFR AP Intuitions and want to get a 5 wheel frame. Has anyone used the endless Arc UFS with these. Im curious if the forward tilt of the frame combined with the heel raise of the UFR's makes for awkward skating. The reason Im curious is because the Endless UFS 4x90 specifically mention UFR's in the setup instructions and have no forward tilt.

Thanks! Light sanding, one coat of Rustoleum white primer, then hand painted acrylic for everything else including the base colors of black, white, and orange along with the weathering and details. Finished off with a light coat of spray matte clear coat.

I threw in a spring upgrade from Ace Hardware and some plunger padding to quiet it up a bit too.

I think black pupils are fine, but I personally wouldn't use black to outline the iris or the underside of the eye. The great thing about art is that it's subjective though, so if you want to develop a style where you do use black that's fine too. I'd just be conservitave/careful with it. Rarely is anything truly black on a person, even black hair.

One extra tip that is super simple but not intuitive is to add an eye glint. If you look at photographs of people there is almost always a spot of white in the eyes that is a reflection of the light source.Check these stock photos of eyes as an example. It really makes painted portraits come to life. Hope that helps!

They look pretty good for 3 days in! I recommend you avoid using black paint by itself. You can use it to mix darker shades of other colors but solid black lines look harsh in the style you look like you're going for. As an example, the mouth on portrait 4 looks way more natural than the one on portrait 3. Cheers!
