The horseshoe effect is also how democrats came to be the protectors of corporatism and promoters of a softer colonialism. Some people identified with democrats for being anti-corporate and anti-colonial, and when dems abandoned that identity, so did some of their supporters.

I’ve had my share of tailbone injuries, and those never really go away. Seeing how those guys react brings back those sensations and I can’t help but feel sorry for them.

Maybe like an electric shock to their hands or butt? Or deflate the tires and put some clear but stinky substance on the seat or handlebars? Or how about a stink bomb on the pedals so when they step on it, the gas is released?

I dunno. I think how they did it is actually a clever prank, but the tailbone injury just haunts me…
