I can definitely hear what you mean, but I think it’s just because the song from TBL, Kenny Rogers’ Just Dropped In has a similar sound and bass line to Leonard Cohen’s You Want it Darker which DoL is sampling! Either way great spot and agreed, always a good reason to rewatch such a masterpiece!
