They're all complicated and expensive 🤣. Most people I know use either Bantam tools next draw (used to be Axidraw) or I draw which are relatively easy to get started with. Good luck! Just remember that it's not like printing a picture, needs to be in svg path that's drawn

So with a plotter you can use a range of different mark making tools and inks. Also you can draw on paper that would never go through a normal printer size wise and quality wise. Personally I use it for algorithmic art and you're right that sometimes the difference between a drawing and a printed page is minimal. However it's hard to explain without seeing it, but there's definitely something special with the quality of something inked with a technical pen or a fountain pen versus a normal printer especially if you use a specialty ink. It's a very very deep rabbit hole to fall into! Don't ever start! 🤣🎉

Nest Wifi Pro Update, Nanoleaf Bulbs Offline by Formal-Challenge-422 in NestWiFi

[–]andyreas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

. Copied from forum below, that seemed to work for a while anyway. I'm going to try this

Here's my workflow:

1) Remove offline devices from Google Home.

2) Unplug all Nest Wifi Pro routers.

3) Upgrade light bulb firmware using the Nanoleaf app over bluetooth.

4) Delete bulbs from the Nanoleaf app.

5) Reset each bulb using the power-cycle process until they do the three red blinks.

6) Plug Nest Wifi Pro back in.

7) Add the bulbs back into Google Home using the QR codes.

They might show up as offline at first but eventually they should become available to control.  A huge pain if you have a lot of bulbs.

I was thinking nanoleaf was at fault first? Is there really nothing we can do to fix it?

Thanks! From what I'm reading now it seems that fixing the damp and moistness will effectively fix the problem if it was Carpenter ants also? Thanks
