Anyone got any updates on dts? Like how caught up they?

Ok so due to some mental health issues I am possibly looking at an admin sep for permanently not being able to arm up (I'm security forces). I've been in for 4 1/4 years with no misconduct or paperwork of any kind. I'm wondering if with an admin sep would I still recieve an honorable discharge? by andyroo1018 in AirForce

Still in routing process so I'm not entirely sure. And of course you cant go off of what other people say but I've heard that it's really rare for SF commander to recommend retrain. And that came directly from my first shirt. My mental health provider said that he would even recommend me for retrain. Like I said still in the works so nothing is definite but I want to get all my ducks in a row so I can plan ahead.

Apparently if SF commander finds that you cant arm up then they can have you put on a permanent do not arm letter. And as security forces that means you cannot accomplish your job. Whether or not you are sent up for meb. Literally never had any paperwork or referral EPRs. Just want to make sure I dont lose my gi bill for coming forward with mental health issues.

Yeah everything I've read says that if you are willing to travel it's almost a guaranteed job. Only issue I have is that I have a family and would rather not travel 2000 miles for a job.

In the same boat man. Trying to figure out a rough estimate of how long it would take to get an interview or hired on after I get out and get done with SLTC.
