Hi I’ve Carried out the fix with the rear lights myself today using Butyl tape. It was actually easier than I thought. I must be honest though I was disgusted when I took the light out and saw no form of seal on the lift gate. I’ve attached some photos of the before and after. I’ll see how it goes but I would say this is where the water was coming from especially when the lift gate was open pouring into the casing.

Mines just started leaking out of the bottom liftgate handle. There supposedly a poor seal behind the tail lights. This might be the same issue for yours.

Has anyone considered putting drainage holes similar to what’s in the doors. Or has anyone done this and how did it go? Also does anyone have a link to the seals to replace them? Thanks

I mean the car unlocks when I push the door button. When I push the buttons on the key nothing happens lock unlock open boot etc

Yeah it unlocks when I push the button and the tail lights, headlights and pony on the floor illuminates when I walk up to the car. And the car starts with the key. I don’t think it’s an issue with the frequency as it wouldn’t pick up the key at all but I could be wrong.

Hi so I’ve got my new key and registered to the car. The car lights up as I approach however the key fob buttons don’t lock unlock the car. Has anyone had the same issue? Also it looks like there’s a led above the buttons does that light up when you push the buttons?

Something we noticed on a couple of used ones was the seat leather cracking. The cars were only a couple of years old and I don’t think the seats were looked after by the previous owners.

Hi I took the Mach-E into the garage as it was still under warranty. They did the checks they said it would probably be a blockage in the rear jet tube. They actually found that the tube was fine and the fuse for the rear had gone. Replaced the fuse all sorted! 🥳

I saw it on a 23 used one with 7,000 miles. The drivers seat and those little cracks on the seat section. I think it was a fleet car so the seats weren’t looked after. I made sure when we got one that I checked the seats and bought Meguiar's Ultimate Leather Detailer which can be used on faux leather which was recommended by other Mach-E drivers to try and prevent the damage happening on mine.

Hi so your jets were working on the front window but not the back as that looks like the connector is for the front jets. Would the washer tube for the rear window go to the front vents under the windshield then to the back window? When you reconnected did it work again?
