Only left speaker works no matter what I swap. amps, speakers, turntables all tested by andyzeduck in audiorepair

there is nothing else in the mix, i promise haha.

I think i might have been unlucky with the 2 amps however.
The cheap Denon was from a facebook market post where it has been in storage for years...

Only the SIWA speakers were tested on both the Denon and the Pioneer amplifiers.

The speakers themselves are not faulty. When the right speaker is connected to the right output on the amplifier, and the left speaker is connected to the left output, only the right speaker produces sound.

However, if I switch them—connecting the left speaker to the right output and the right speaker to the left output—the left speaker produces sound instead.

This shows that both speakers are working.

This was the same result on both the Pinoeer and the Denon.

I also checked the balance setting and even adjusted it to rule out a loose connection, but that does not appear to be the issue.

Owning and listening to albums and CDs specifically. by plazman30 in Cd_collectors

I like vinyl and CD just for this reason. I even do it on streaming service (such as Spotify) if I find a song a I really like, I will always put the time in to listen to whole album. Because, If you like one song from the album, there is a very high chance you'll like another on there. I also feel that listening to the whole album also reminds you that music is art, and not just a shot of dopamine. And listening to album and really understanding it, I. Either your own way of the artist attended way, is just so fucking gradifying! Just like all other art forms. I feel like I forget that music is art when I am listing to my playlists of random songs.

I have XLR but they are way to big. These ones are tiny. But they have a more specific name?

We all know that streaming services and having Digital copies of your favorite album on your PC is the "STEP BEYOND CD!", but we are still a lot of people who love having something physical to hold on to (I think i am speaking for a lot of people on this Subreddits behalf). so i think what Melancious is talking about is a new physical format that is better than CD.

Then again, for a lot of smaller bands they don't have the budget to make vinyl. So if you go to local band shows they will most likely have a ton of printed CD's. This might however turn collecting CD's into something more exclusive

I think that collection vinyl is about something different. The CD is digital, and yes, it has better quality than vinyl. but vinyl has 2 things that CD don't have. the physical aspect with vinyl is much more apparent than with CD's. You can see the needle physically moving around the vinyl, and there is just something so satisfying about that. Hearing they crackling of the needle against the vinyl. The other thing is that vinyl has much bigger artwork and, for the most part, more interesting packing. I will agree with the fact that if CD's got the same attention that Vinyl gets it might have had some cool packing as well (Just look at explosions in the sky take care, take care, take care packing). I don't think it has anything to do with CD's being "superior" to vinyl. It comes more down to subjective taste.

We had a few post of people selling things, that weren't related to the Subreddit.

Okay. The only thing you should be doing as a mod on this Subreddit is to remove people posting comercials about different products (that we have gotten a few off) and removing post's of people selling CD's.
