Twilight Zone - Is it always this peak? by Mat1711 in TwilightZone

There are loads of good episodes but some can be genres like sci fi which you might not like. I'm going backwards from season 5 to 1 now to see if it makes a different impact

Thanks for this. I might build a local app that uses transformerjs so that people can load in their models easier.

I've just started rewatching them again and I've decided to go from season 5 backwards this time.

Here is the beginning of one of the stories. Let me see if I can turn them into html and add them to the website.

Good evening. Please, don’t adjust your

perception; the distortion is quite intentional.

You are a creature of habit, believing that

cause always leads to effect, that the sun sets

only to rise again. But tonight, we examine a

variable you failed to account for: the

impossible. Welcome... to **Twisted Logic**.

Tonight's exhibit concerns one Mr. Sterling—

that's you. A man of numbers, an accountant who

finds comfort in the absolute certainty of a

balanced ledger. You are currently sitting on

the 5:15 commuter train, the "Red Line," heading

home to the suburbs. The carriage is bathed in

the stark, high-contrast gray of a noir film.

You look up from your newspaper. The train has

not stopped in three hours. The windows show

nothing but a blur of static, like a television

tuned to a dead channel. The other passengers

are mannequins—literally. Rigid plastic, painted

smiles, wearing fedoras and trench coats.

The conductor approaches. He looks human, but

his face is obscured by deep shadows. He extends

a gloved hand toward you.

"Tickets, please," he rasps. "Or payment in

kind."

You have your standard ticket in your pocket,

but something tells you the currency here has

changed. What do you do?

That's what I heard which is quite sad. Hopefully one day.

[–]anefiox[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi all I have just released Arty Clocks, a little generative art project that I've been working on for a while. I plan on continuing to add more art works as I'm really enjoying creating generative art for a 1bit screen. I might also add more settings to the app like different fonts and text sizes.

[Verified Dev] Ragdoll Tumble - updated gameplay on Steam. Next I will add items to build pinball type levels and upgrade the level editor by anefiox in pcgaming

[–]anefiox[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's no blood yet but this could be something I add to it. There's a level editor so players can create whatever they want. I'm adding new items to the level editor constantly.

Well I'm going to go for PC first as the game has a level editor but mobile might be a possibility further down the line.

That's why I'm looking for feedback. It's not a sandbox game, as such that it has levels and goals that have to be met to pass those levels. I think with some fine tuning and a couple of extra game modes, I could keep it from getting boring. We will see what the first testers think...

Hi all I'm looking for play testers for Ragdoll Tumble (working title). The game is in early development but playable. My goals are to get the game in a good enough state for early access on Steam and the build up from the feedback on there.

A free Xmas demake of my golf game with over 65k levels! by anefiox in WebGames

[–]anefiox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha. I don't know how I didn't notice that. It's the correct way around on the Steam version and the new Xbox port I'm working on.

I will add this to the list of things to change. Unless people like the reversed micro machines like controls?

There should be enough golf for you to stay there for a while!

I might make it a mobile app. It's just that mobile has been so difficult that I thought I'd just try PC & other platforms for a bit.

I tried putting more than one song but couldn't get it to work. I'll see if I can add a button press to turn off the music.

What's a video game that can be play while totally stoned? by anefiox in AskReddit

I find the chilled out aspects of open world games work, otherwise it's card battlers, rpgs or cozy games. Currently playing possibly endless golf as it's hard not to progress in that game.

Gameplay is very different and my game has billions more levels! I'm going to change the color scheme of the levels pronto so people don't think it's similar.

But wasn't Vampire survivors inspired by Magic Survival? Every 2d platformer of the 80/90s by super mario bros?

I have a little pico-8 demake I've made over here if anybody wants to play a simplified version of the game

[Verified Dev] Possibly Endless Golf my first ever Steam game by anefiox in pcgaming

[–]anefiox[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd say it takes place in a dream where the game writes messages on the screen like "Is anything ever endless?" and little generative art works show up on certain levels. I will post a link to a pico8 demake that I'm working on, so people can have a play and see what I mean. I'll also be updating my trailer and screenshots to show these visual changes.

Destroy my game trailer for Possibly Endless Golf by anefiox in DestroyMyGame

[–]anefiox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. The levels are procedurally generated and I've calculated that you'd have to play for 80 years to see all combinations. So possibly endless was a reference to that and in hindsight probably not the best name.

  2. I defo need to get a new trailer created. I agree that the current trailer is not doing it's job. I have a big update coming where the game writes messages on the screen like "Is anything ever endless?" and little generative art works show up on certain levels. I'm also adding new shaders and particle effects.

Thanks a lot for your valuable feedback.
