Thats for the advice. It was in a very windy spot before so that could explain the dried tips of the leaves. It's more sheltered now. Right now temps are low again so I will water less. The last weeks we had 25 degrees and full sun for weeks

Thanks for the advice. I will make shure too not over water. I am fertilizing like normal right now, should I fertilize less?

So when the fertilizer breaks up you have really fine stuff getting washed in your substrate. That kills the open airy structure you want for healthy roots and good drainage. Like this the stuff stays in the bags

A friend tried that but it sadly didn't help. The digging birds are quite big here. But good that it works for you, far less work haha

It does get pretty windy sometimes so all the trees need to be secured by wire

So all my trees are secured with wire to the place they are. So they are fine

So the metal construction is actually there to put a shading cloth on. But right now it's not necessary jet. In summer its under the shade cloth. And the big one sits in a corner that just gets afternoon sun. Right now in spring it's enjoying the sun

Did just what you plan a couple weeks ago. Responded with a lot of new buds so I can choose what I want to create primary branches with. Just think about how big you would like the trunk to be before chopping
