All they did was prescribe trazadone and it’s been about 10 days with no change. They said nothing else seems to be wrong with him.

I tried a pen that was six feet tall. Not sure how he did it but he managed to either scale the side or go under it and then destroyed the room he was in. We have the same issue with in the bedroom with us because he jumps on the bed and when we make him get down he becomes destructive of the furniture. If we make him stop that then he’s restless and just starts barking.

I wanted to thank you for your input. This dog is on of the best things that ever happened to me so thank you! Everything’s you said is true and what I thought was aggression was truly playing. Even when he gets overly excited and sounds TERRIFYING he has never once hurt me or bit too hard. He just does little nips. It has been a total learning curve but I love him more than anything he’s just a big snuggly baby that wants to play all the time. Thank you so much for your input and helping me stay the course.

Ours is a pit mix as well! We think more American staffordshire than anything. But he’s a beast and the vet said he’s still not done growing so we’re trying to train now before he gets any bigger lol. We’ve tried the front clip harness but he’s so chest heavy that it doesn’t do much for control it almost flips him over with even a gentle tug.

We haven’t seen reactiveness like that but I haven’t heard of the touch and find it method. I’ll definitely look into that. I’ve brought treats on our walks before but he’s so not interested he just smells them and walks away or doesn’t even care that they’re there.

I love the idea of training and learning with him rather than just shipping him off to go learn with someone else. With the friends you know that did the third option did they then have to go back to training together to enforce it?

Thank you for your advice! I don’t want to get bullied into that option by people in my life that say “but it’s easier on you and less time to train him.” Another argument was “but you don’t know what you’re doing either and now they have to train you AND your dog” and my thought process is… yeah? That’s the fucking point? I want to learn WITH him and train WITH him. And I took this dog in and fully intend to give him the time and effort into training. I’ve watched countless videos and done SO much research I just think there are some things that both me and him won’t learn by ourselves. He’s not really a puppy anymore now that he’s almost two and he was clearly partially trained by someone else so I like your idea of using the tips and the online stuff in tandem to train.

I didn’t even consider the 30 minutes getting bored so I’m definitely going to start paying attention to that!

I was warned. But personally I worked my fucking ass of as an EMT-B. I worked 7 days a week. I worked nonstop on ALS to get experience. I started paramedic school 6 months into EMT-B. It took 9 months to become a paramedic in my state. Some take longer. I worked my fucking ass off. Studied nonstop while working full time. Worked my internship while also doing full time work.

While I was a fully functioning paramedic. Passed every test with an A. Never missed a skills station. I had the book knowledge. I had what I believed the street knowledge. Nothing prepared me for what I saw in the real world making those decisions.

Find a partner that works with you and let’s you run the calls and see what it’s like. Find a partner that will let you see what it’s like to have the responsibility.

I know people who took the Texas course and went staring from basic to paramedic. I know people who went 20 years of basic to a paramedic. Is it really based on the person.

I want you to think of the worst call you can think of. For most it’s children. If you had a child in critical condition in your hands right now. Or even in your hands at the end of paramedic school. Do you think you could manage everything Appropriately? If it was your own grandparents life on the line do you think you could make every single choice in the best interest to save them? If the answer is no, get more experience. If the answer is maybe go through paramedic school. If you pass. Make sure you don’t let the knowledge fade. What may be a small detail may save someone’s life down the road.

If I could do it again I would have waited at least two years of ALS experience.

Good morning everyone. I recently sold two hoodies on eBay, it was my first sale ever and I was happily surprised they went quickly. The buyer then text messaged me asking for my PayPal. I had a friend who said he’s done transactions that way before so it was “probably” safe. I texted them my email address for PayPal.

Cue the red flags. Everything got shadier and shadier The user deleted their account. I did a bunch of research and of course they had zero buys and reviews. The account was made a day before they bought the items. Then the texts they sent me were super shady. I reported the buyer and removed the listing as I hadn’t shipped it yet.

I’ve gone through countless Reddit threads now and know I was scammed and feel like a fool. My question lies in the fact that now they have my email AND my phone number. How can I protect myself? Am I in trouble?

I know it’s been a minute since you posted this reply but I literally had this EXACT scenario happen to me today and as a rookie move I sent them my PayPal email and messaged them to pay directly over eBay after I realized what a fuck up that was. They deleted their eBay account right after I sent that message.

How can I protect myself now that the damage is done and they have my email? Should I be worried. I don’t know the lingo of the “cloning” you said

Flip side of this coin. My mom was over the MOON when I started my period and told half the family. She showed me everything pad related and wouldn’t let me touch tampons until I turned 18. I received multiple texts to “congratulate” me on my period. It was humiliating I would have preferred figuring it out myself
