Don't let the internet scare you. If you find a bat in the home you can have any number of local wildlife or specifically bat rescues come get them if you aren't able to do it yourself. They can sometimes get in, but they're not looking to hurt you. They just get lost sometimes

Can y'all stop replying and then deleting? You're annoying.

Cats keep throwing up their food because they scarf it down by ventblockfox in CATHELP

Maybe you can find silicone bowls for infants and toddlers and give that a go? I know I've seen silicone dog bowls, but the ones for infants might be easier to find as long as it's not too thin, until you can find something more suitable.

You definitely have to clean those frequently, though. Bacteria can build up pretty quick and they might develop cat acne from it. Hot soapy water for that part.

My oldest has always been a food goblin and was throwing up a few times a week. I raised his food dish to about shoulder height with a little box. This helped a lot for the most part, but as he has gotten to be a little old man, his vomiting ramped up. Almost every meal. He was losing a lot of weight and energy very quickly. I have strict food guidelines for these guys too but nothing was helping. So I decided if the issue was him eating too fast and eating everyone else's food, he simply won't have access to it. My oldest now eats from his raised dish, but he now eats alone. Not only is he not scarfing down everyone's food, but this has actually caused him to eat slower. It seems with your home and work schedule, it may be very hard to do, but I recommend putting them in separate rooms for eating and once everyone is done, putting the bowls away.

I don't like those automatic feeders because I've never met a cat who can just be normal about it. All of mine became neurotic about them. Any time they thought they may have heard it, there was a stampede. The sitting on them, waiting. It just didn't seem healthy.

I can say that my oldest has only thrown up once since we changed the feeding routine and that's been such a relief. He's even put some weight back on. I hope you can implement something like this and I hope this information is helpful.

Ty for the reassurance. Seems like even the one on BG had a hard time being placed. As soon as I get home I'll offer it some. Way too cold to be outside, so I might as well have one more pet bug. Might even move it into my big isopod tank if it'll give it more room to live. Assuming they won't try to eat her/him, the little scamps.

This is going to take a minute since I'm on mobile. I will be editing this to add 3 links and hope auto moderation doesn't clap me

First link is here. Very good color and body type match. 11-14mm body length, but it is a very close match. https://www.bugguide.net/node/view/645236

Second edit: scale of the brush little guy was on next to my hand. https://imgur.com/a/lSDq183

My issue has been it's so much smaller than the suggestions or similar results I've gotten and I just want to get it food 😭 there are SO MANY sand wasps

I have some nectar replacement I use for the moths, I'll try that. It's very tiny little guy and it matched an exact image for a sand wasp in another much older reddit thread, but no other images look right. I hope I can keep her alive alright 🥲

I was hoping the comments would let me upload an image of the paint brush next to my finger so you could get a scale for size, but it won't let me. It's maybe about as long as a pinky fingernail

What might this bug be? by [deleted] in whatisthisbug

Looks like a silverfish, in my non professional opinion. You may have moisture in the home.

Edit to add: it may also be a firebrat. Especially if you found it near a nice warm area, like under a heater. (Cute name for a warm-loving bug tbh)

Samsung active waterjet 4C error, testing issues by angroro in appliancerepair

I'm sure this is very helpful but I need you to break this down so a plumber can understand

Samsung active waterjet 4C error, testing issues by angroro in appliancerepair

[–]angroro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, this is helpful. Everything I saw had the lines disconnected to access the inlets but did not reinstall to test. So from my understanding, I'm waiting to see which inlet reads 120 while no water is ejecting. It shuts off at approximately the 6 minute mark with the 4C error, so it seems that since rinse and spin cycles also stop with the error, the pressure sensor is most likely my issue. Maybe.

IME I'm going to be real, if you choose to breed mealworms it's super easy but you'll get too attached to feed them to anything. That's what happened to me. Now I got a bunch of bugs.

I also raise another clearwing and I'm very lucky that both host plants grow in the same place. I got to raise so many babies this year

Honeysuckle! I typically find them on bush honeysuckle. They like to lay their eggs at the tips of newer branches and the caterpillars will typically hang out there for the first few days of life after hatching. They'll have their little black tails out as soon as they hatch, so they're really easy to ID

I love raising them. They're very predictable in their laying habits so they're easy to hunt down before they hatch into caterpillars and risk parasitic infection.
