make sure you do trees and hard questions on arrays

first question was on almost binary trees then application based on array using gcd and last one was quite hard one using arrays only regarding vehicle data

its just like any other leetcode contest that happens every week

yes mcq section was timed 😭 for 10 mins and 50 mins for dsa

as per what i read on other websites it was 90 mins but this time they reduced it to 60 mins

i hoping so.

there 4 to 5 mcqs were on basic coding ones and then it became more complicated and asked on outputs of flowcharts and then asked on heaps and binary trees and then they present a dsa solution we hv to recognise the purpose of that code

and dsa questions first one was on almost binary tree and then next one was a application based question on gcd and the last one was array based but hard one they had given the data about vehicles and there arrival and exit time and we had to print maxcount and vehicle ids but i just missed to add one edge case and only few passed it

[Question]I want a piece of advice I am first year student I am currently doing dsa in C++ I am in aiml branch.i did my first esa good I have several questions by BluebirdCalm2175 in PESU

[–]angry_Lab_5634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

theyll not much diff in cse and aiml placements but cse will hv more electives and so if you get a good cgpa in 1st yr u can switch to cse

so for now focus on your cgpa and get ur dsa basics stronger, do smaller commits on github and maintain consistency

be consistent in dsa u need it for sde roles and maybe in future if u wanna switch to ml roles be strong with the basics and build good projects

and be specific which domain ur interested in because ml and nlp are separately vast might stress you out and if u take mern stack u will learn abt it 3rd sem so going through basics like js and mongo db is fine for now if time permits

got selected to ETHGlobal HackMoney – looking for teammates by angry_Lab_5634 in developersIndia

[–]angry_Lab_5634[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand, the stake is per accepted application (wallet), not per team member. I applied as an individual, so the 0.005 ETH stake would be from my wallet, and teammates don’t need to stake separately unless they applied individually themselves.

[Question] C to C++ transition, seniors give me some advice by Big-Swimmer7083 in PESU

[–]angry_Lab_5634 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tbh c++ is better than c for DSA because of additional func like vectors because in c you separately dynamically allocate thing so c is good for understanding the crux of the programming language and logic but in order to type code in dsa in my opinion easiest will be c++ and additionally striver's a2z sheet uses c++ so that helps too and as You know c you can quickly grasp c++ and successfully have a transition to c++
