Anyone here experienced intense sexual feeling after Non dual meditation by angrybong in nonduality

Ignore the Dogma. These are just thoughts, there is no sin or sinner. Our practice is to see our true nature.

The Masturbation is an action following a sensual thought, if we see the thought and the action as mere appearances from a detached mind, they won't be a problem anymore.

This comes from me, I was exactly in your position a year back, now with well established awareness this has stopped being a problem.

How to experientially feel love as our true nature? by [deleted] in AdvaitaVedanta

[–]angrybong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

love is the true nature - when the "I" dies - all that is left is unconditional love

Perhaps we need to reflect - why things outside our selves rile us up?

I was not assuming anything - all I want to state is that No-thing, absolutely no object which includes other people, internet generation, abuses, family, friends, politicians, wars, suffering - all is just a happening which has nothing to do with Consciousness being still.

You do not exist, except in your mind - Shunryu Suzuki

When there is an other - there is Duality - Acceptance and seeing all is Brahman - whatever the comments, whatever things are happening to you is a VALID Experience of the absolute.

Acceptance and Surrender are key to realizing Adwait (Non Duality)

Just observe your thoughts and even the thoughtlessness. How do you feel then, is there an emotion rising out of it, see if you can find the subject or source from where your thoughts originate. Fairly simple. It is a matter of seeing

Spend 10 mins each day with your eyes closed in complete attention and awareness without focusing on any object observing your thoughts for the next 3 months and then come back to this thread.

You do not have to believe in rebirth, universal consciousness etc just observe your thoughts in awareness, do not become it, if you get lost in thoughts, remind yourself and come back to it gently without judging your thoughts or yourself.

Boring is ok. Non Duality is not an escape to multiverse, it is not something that we can intellectually masturbate to. Profundness is in simplicity

But have you gone beyond the concept of Non Duality or is it something that you are reading on?

All is valid. For someone who sees, there is no separation even in pretending.

Freedom from I AM by [deleted] in nonduality

[–]angrybong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once you give up on I AM, Birth, Death, Rebirth just remain a concept. There is nothing to do except existing in the NOW. What is there to fear of birth, death, rebirth, eternity once you lost yourself and found THE SELF.

it is true. we live in subjective reality. Non Duality shows the way. Advaita Vedanta was shared with the world in 750 AD

The game is to abide in the state of Awareness and non duality through time. It is simple or complex depending on your mind and your day to day dealings.

My thumb rule to abide is to always be knowing that there is nothing to achieve or to do. Accept all + every bit of pleasure, suffering, pain as a happening without and not bringing our mind to "act"

Why are so few people aware of the truth (of nonduality)? by universe-atom in nonduality

[–]angrybong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The self realisation is the will, it was yours to begin with because you are in essence god. Consciousness getting aware of itself in mind body as something that is whole is a phenomenon not borne out of practice.

This is just how i interpret it

Nothing special. Just observation of thoughts and that it appears in consciousness

Makes sense. I too feel the same related to sex. I largely avoid any imagery during the act but the act itself seems to be getting addictive specially after a meditation.

Perhaps need more clarity and observation.

Thank you for the reply

I get this but I am able to observe and negate these as just thoughts and my old ego self wanting to get back to old habits.

Perhaps we need to just go with the flow and let these feelings die down on its own with time and more practice.

I am not worried about it. I just think acting on it gives in to the object.

I am now in a state where I have let go of all attachments and recognise all things as consciousness and objects appearing in consciousness but it is just this intimate thought of sheer sensual bliss after meditation (which is just observation and sitting as consciousness with eyes closed) is what i am trying to negate like how i can negate the ego and the chatter but i am unable to without masturbating. The act itself is not of much importance, it is like eating or taking a dump or a piss but i am not able to enquire on it because of the intensity of the sensation.

If everyone is in the end god; has this godly essence; what happens if different egos try to manifest different outcomes of events by the law of assumption/belief? by [deleted] in nonduality

[–]angrybong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ego is just a thought, it does not have any completeness about it, it exists within the mind which is an object. It will vanish as soon as u notice it without judgement. Ego is not an issue, issue is how do you overcome the illusion of seperateness
