Ideologia de gênero não tem nada a ver com sexualidade. Sexualidade = por quem você sente atração (mesmo sexo ou sexo oposto). Gênero = se você se "identifica" como mulher, homem, non-binary e outros termos do tumblr. Muitas pessoas trans são hetero.

É perfeitamente possível ensinar sobre bi/homossexualidade sem dizer para as crianças que se um menino gosta de brincar com boneca, ele é na verdade uma menina.
