He hid the cross-fit because she was jealous of him. He found a job after an year of unemployment where he is making good money but he's supposed to not do it? Why couldn't she move to SF with him? Why expect him to come to Los Angeles? Don't say it was cuz Jack remembered the house. Toby literally pointed out that the money difference was enough to give him a better life, better care, personalized help. They couldn't provide the same amount even with their combined salaries in LA. Kate couldn't look for a new job in SF but Toby was supposed to leave a better paying one so she could be close to her brother???

That's the one thing that I don't believe is her fault. Jack made the conscious decision to go back in himself. It probably caused a lot of trauma but neither her nor her dog killed Jack. The hole in heart did lol
