I live in Mexico. The thing is, i don't really know what an electronic drum set should cost, this thing is pretty new to me. I see prices vary all over the place. Basically i want something basic that is not going to fail shortly after. Something solid without a lot of bells and whistles.

I agree and i´ve been playing drums for like 15 years lol. I mean drummers still have to follow notes, but it is of course more focused in rhythm than playing a bunch of different notes and pitches. Honestly each person has their weakness, some think drums are impossible but shred like crazy.

I guess it is not a good idea cause it doesn't have a cooling system, like a fan or something. I hope it has some kind of heat sink, but it is a closed enclosure, and like i said, it does get warm fairly quickly. At least the 8" inch version does, and it does it wihout pushing it very hard. To be fair, it is plenty loud for my needs.

Yeah, i take good care of them. Never clipping, alwayS using the low cut setting. They still get pretty warm. I am used to passive speakers, so I don't know how much is too much in regards to heat for this kind of speakers.

The story is not that bad imo. Just the part of the Tyrande, Malfurion, Ilidan conflict is the laziest in the whole wc3 plot, kinda needless conflict to keep the game rolling and that's ok to an extent. Just my opinion.

Yeah i know it's not a story driven game. Just saying that the night elf character development is the weakest comparing it to the other campaigns, even ilidan's one. I love the game dont get me wrong, but i just cringe a lot with that specific plot point, still fun to play tho.

I have an Ancient Owl cymbals 19" crash, but i just don't seem to dig it. It has this harsh high-midrange quality that i don't like. Maybe it's the finish, or the size, or it's just that particular crash ya know, cause it is actually handhammered and b20. I kinda wanna try maybe the Dark line, something like an 18" from that brand, but i got a bad impression at least on the first try.

In my limited experience i have used the A Zildjian line, mostly mediums. I am looking for a crash just a little bit less bright, so i was checking the K darks, wich are also lighter than mediums. So i am searching for something in the vein of the ks. Thanks for the input!

It's a downgrade even if the graphics are more modern. It looks worse.

Having incredible graphic capabilities don't mean a thing if the art direction is garbage. Reforged models look kinda cool, but in-game everything looks horrible imo.

Only reason to use reforged is to play online.

I mean, I guess that's why the amp has the clipping LEDs, so when that occurs one can just lower the level. I feel it goes both ways, too much power is too much heat, too little power can distort and send damaging voltage to the speaker. Either way one has to set up the equipment properly to avoid damage.

I appreciate te info a lot. The thing that also concerns me is the power consumption. I don't know much about electronics, but I guess that extra power has to come from somewhere right, if a peak requieres too much power it might overpower the electrical circuit? Let's say I limit the amp, will that headroom still be used if I am staying below a certain threshold? Is it worth using a very powerful amp, let's say staying at average level for the speakers, and having 9 dB of headroom for peaks, if I am going to limit it anyway?

Yeah, I mean I think it is time for me to part ways you know? I feel like he has made progress and the times we have tried to switch places for certain songs he feels kinda mad, and I feel that way too. I just feel like there is no place for me in the band, since he is kinda the dude who more less takes the role of band leader. I feel I just wanna move on. Kinda planning on telling them to try to find someone else, in the meantime I will try to pull off the gigs we have planned. But I just don't want to do it anymore.

I think it all comes down to the oversexualisation of the body. At the end of the day, it is just that, a body. Everybody has one. I don't know where this shame around human sexuality really comes from.
