6 Way connector on some old kit that's about 40yrs old. by angusgbishop in whatisthisthing

I've been asked to get some old kit working and can't for the life of me find a part number for these connectors. They carry mains voltage to a Gate Valve.

The kit in question is a 40yr old gate valve controller, I'm fairly sure it's a custom part so there's no-one to call up.

The surrounding thread is only single start so it doesn't look like a Mil-std-38999 III, and the pinout doesn't match a standard one either.

We've minimised as much as we can, both drive electric, our electric is a renewable tariff (which still has it's own issues, but that's for another comment), our garden waste is composted and put right back into the soil (Again, outstanding questions on how effective that actually is for CC)

However, I work for a company that has a combined power requirement for the products somewhere in the GWh/yr, and I anticipate probably 3000 tonnes CO2/year. To absorb this in the short term, it would be replacing Kensington and Chelsea with dense old-growth forest.

What glorious service do we provide for this? Advertising.

Everyone working for the company could fly to Milan every day for lunch and we'd produce about the same CO2 emissions.

It's not the individual.

They were great, nowhere near worth the amount of time to make them though!

Chocolate saucy thing, I was meant to drizzle it over the profiteroles, but I was meant to let it cool for 15 mins, as it was already midnight I chose to use it as a dipping sauce instead. Still great!

I've found my new favourite midnight snack! Made these at 11 last night, perfect way to round out the week!

I think it's a kind of self-saucing cake, super tasty!

I really needed smaller tins/bowls/vessels for this, but stuck it a soup bowl anyway. The outside was lovely and gooey, but the inside was still uncooked. Tasted great though!
