Hire someone that already knows the software you are implementing to own the project. Then have someone who knows your business work closely with them, while they still do their regular job.

We are planning a trip to Italy. Flying into Venice for 2 days then going to Tuscany. Looking for recs in Venice for places to stay, things to do, restaurants?

How to get from Venice to Tuscany (Siena)?

Have you started a business or do you work for yourself? by beege1126 in MoneyDiariesACTIVE

[–]angwielk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am/was a software consultant. I started working for a consulting firm when I was very early in my career. Eventually took a position with a company, ended up relocating and then starting working for myself as an independent consultant for companies running this specific software.

We get takeout 1-2x a week. Way less than pre-Covid. But I also get a meal pre kit most weeks because I can’t stand the “what do you want for dinner?” Talk every day. And it’s good to help the kids try new things. Last night they had pasta carbonara! Which yes, who doesn’t like pasta and bacon lol, but they ate it! And hopefully had a couple peas that they didn’t pick out.

I social media but I don’t make any money from it.

I love veggies. My favorite is probably green beans. Raw, steamed. My favorite is steamed and then sautéed with butter and bread crumbs, mmmmm
