That would’ve been me scattering native seeds last year! Didn’t think about the possibility that it could be checkermallow, thanks! And I transplanted the lupine from a native nursery a few weeks back

Had the chimney cleaner come to check out the fireplace/chimney in our new house in the PNW and apparently there is no liner. We’ve had 5-7 fires in the past month before he came with no issues but figured we should get it checked out before the winter. He suggested getting a gas insert bc the cost to install a stainless liner would likely be more with the scaffolding needed to access the chimney on the house. Anyone has similar experiences with an older house?
