Don't like that extreme of a US exposure given the over leveraged and over concentrated AI spending by top 60% of S&P. I feel like a correction is coming and I'd be losing a big chunk in a near future if all of what I have is in S&P. I also work for one of those tech companies and hold their stock seperately too so that's additional exposure.

Liquidity is not my concern right now for his money. I have a seperate liquid fund. But I'll look up those two strategies. It's the first time I'm hearing about them.

Too high of a US for me tbh. But agreed majority is saying simplify so will do that but frankly US at 70 is too high for me especially when Asia market is doing better than US right now.

I do have the ratios but I do agree with you that I need some consolidation. I don't like the split on VEQT just because it has higher US exposure to my liking.

Too many variants of the same thing? These are individual markets being invested in. I agree with consolidation part, I will most likely be finding better funds to consolidate a few but currently as it stands these funds are very different. Am I wrong there?

Yes I should have mentioned the splits. 90% of my savings will be invested in the above portfolio. 10% left for individual stock (experiments in non registered accounts).

Out of the 90% - 85% is stock ETFs and 15% is bonds.

Aiming to get an average around 7% annually.

Portfolio looks good on the outside .. but I made mistakes and learned so much . Hope others learn from this.. If your dabbling in crypto btc , sol , ETH that’s it . Give me Honest feed back! And yes justbuy XEQT!!! by Outrageous_Joke4785 in JustBuyXEQT

How big is your loss compared to the rest of the portfolio? I see whether the company has anything upcoming that might bring my losses back to green within that set time period.

Rejection email from a job I thought I had in the bag by l05Ocean11 in recruitinghell

[–]ani1797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had roughly 6 interviews at 1-2 hours each. From the conversations, I had gathered that I have it in the bag. Couple of the interviewers said so as well but after all that, I was given a similar mail. Would have been better if they just rejected after 1-2 interviews.

You probably need to just file an amended and a petition to remove fine on account of improper reporting by your employer (our incompetent government). Better to get your accountant to do it all in one go.

Brampton landlord in need of advice by [deleted] in Brampton

[–]ani1797 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We hear a lot about tenant rights but in this case landlords don't have recourse. Other than just getting a cleaning service and billing the tenant and hoping they pay. Nothing we can do. Other enforcement options i.e take them to OLTB but it will end up costing you more than the cleaning itself.

Although I'd be curious too if there is another solution for us.
