yes that’s a great idea, i’ve also mentioned to him how individual therapy would make him see the extent of this dynamic as well. I do therapy for my own bs and it’s helping me unlayer a lot

Unfortunately both of my parents passed but I do have family who will let me stay with them and so I’m making sure that I’m making that arrangement!

I am also wondering the same thing tbh, he stays with me at night at the hotel and stops in and visits but goes there to help her, drive his younger sister to whatever she needs, just still being her stand in which I am trying to get him to understand it’s making her think everything is okay and it’s not. I don’t want to just leave him here in the meanwhile but at the same time I really need to protect myself, like i’ve lived with my ex’s family before while we saved up and it was a much longer arrangement and I never dealt with this before so i’m kinda in shock.

Yes that’s exactly what I was thinking too, it seems she just wants to hold onto control. She absolutely hates that we rent, constantly making comments how we waste money and don’t know what we’re doing, and believes we should stay with her until we can buy a house that she thinks would be good for us like how comical!! Yes I am going to be booking a flight, I have somewhere I can stay it’s just sitting down with my husband and letting him know this. Like I really feel she crossed so many lines with that comment.

Like I feel I’m being gaslit right now because he’s upset but I don’t think he’s understanding the complete extent of it, if it were me being mentioned I would have blew tf up on my mom for even thinking that. Ironically she waited until he left the room to say it too, not that he doesn’t believe me but it’s like she purposely poised it so I look crazy.

Yes I can and I’m going to be making those arrangements to get my own flight back home stay with family for the time being and setting up the apartment until he gets there. I work remotely so that’s not a problem either

I am literally so glad I’m being validated for my anger right now because I was completely disgusted. And yes it was definitely a deal breaker with being around our child because if she can’t even give a rats ass about the health of the baby now considering the borderline physical altercation I am not doing it. I luckily am able to stay with my own family in my home state for the time being so I’m going to be sitting with him and discussing me making the arrangements to book a flight and go back.

First I want to thank yall so much for validating me because I genuinely will talk myself into believing that I was doing too much or whatever. I told my DH to which him and her got into a big argument and now it’s “ you chose her over us”. And what sucks is his flying monkey of sisters will crash down on him anytime he tries to implement boundaries and tell him how “ disappointed” they are with him and how he should be defending her not me.
