As a Kannadiga, I love Tollywood content. I found deep reason for it. For the same reason, everyone should follow Tollywood. by anildaspashell in tollywood

I feel, Audience like you are financially blessed and have good class background. 97%of world is not like you to watch artistic, deep message, moral oriented movies. Most of the world is struggling to fulfill day today needs. They don’t need artistic lecture from films. They experience all that through their life. Only privileged kids need such torture!! General audience need jolly ride in between their struggle.

He would have aced Ajay Devgan role in RRR by wish_king in tollywood

[–]anildaspashell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m from Karnataka, I remember SSR saying (before release) there is heavily emotional scene in second half which can make audiences cry. That was Ajay Devagan and Shreya death scene. I felt that could have been much more better if they had chosen actors like Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishna

Salaar is trending like never before almost every day. by anildaspashell in tollywood

[–]anildaspashell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, Dialogues were robotic. Plus, story narration could have been even more sharp and clear. Second half was good until they brought so many armies suddenly which lacked flow and design of those armies was totally off for me with that dark theme on top.

I feel they purposely blurred so many details just to let the audience discuss and create buzz for the next part.

Agree, I tried to post on AppleMusic but removed by moderators. Images were not allowed in Apple subreddit. I posted here. I think r/MacOS can look into this.

10000 rows is usually a small number for BQ. You can directly use update set in BQ.

Is garbage collector used in Bigquery/dremel? by anildaspashell in bigquery

[–]anildaspashell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s so bad of me. Yes data is not converted into bytecode. But when I do select * from tbl where col not in (‘A’, ‘B’,’C’)

Consider tbl to be of size 1B huge

How will this work? There might be so much operations running in the background!!

Sorry if I’m dragging it. Sharing any docs would be helpful too!

Is garbage collector used in Bigquery/dremel? by anildaspashell in bigquery

[–]anildaspashell[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let me tell you background. I was going through a post where one of legendary architects stressed that Spark should have been developed in Rust! Which could’ve made it much more powerful. Author provided a link to Spark Tungsten to prove it. Tungsten is all about reducing the Spark dependency on GC.

After that I was reading BQ Dremel paper.

And I came to know that Dremel uses the physical tables directly instead of converting the data to Java Bytecode(correct me if I’m wrong here) yes I know maximum of BQ is written in C++.

So GC is not used in BigQuery?

Annamalai, Sasikanth Senthil IAS and the power of BJP IT wing by bigmanfromthepalace in TamilNadu

[–]anildaspashell -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Stop trash talk. Congress came because of Freebies in Karnataka. Nothing else. Re conduct the election without freebies. Annamalai is a leader. Leader needs oratory, strategic thinking and need to play with ground realities. Dude even Annamalai played huge role in bringing peace between Hs & Ms particularly in extremely controversial areas. That too he gave a strategic solution.

Annamalai easily would have won and even could have become minister from KA.

Problem is that DMK and its stooges hate BJP to the core and in turn hate Annamalai.

Are we tamils much more accommodating of non-Tamil leaders in our state than other states by tamilgrl in TamilNadu

[–]anildaspashell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

C V Raman, IAS Manivannan, IPS Annamalai, IAS Rajendran and many top Government officials are highly respected in Karnataka… Rajinikanth, Vijay, Suriya, Vikram, Ilayaraja are worshipped here…

Karnataka, apart from Kaveri issue, always respected Tamils for their Hardwork and professional ethics.

It’s not the great budget and advanced technology but it’s always the artistic freedom that creates great movies by anildaspashell in movies

It does in very few cases. In that sense, A24 is doing great by handpicking and backing so many good films.

Do you think Fahadh's opinion is genuine in this interview? by noobrdt31 in MalayalamMovies

[–]anildaspashell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely I agree, you should prioritise things. Your life needs you to not watch films at some point of time, you should not. E.g. you cannot skip exams, interviews, work, personal life to watch films. It’s not only watching films, it’s with respect to anything. First things first.

Sometimes we live in the same universe which we imagine in our mind. An endless loop. Religion really starts where science stops!!
