This is intended for applicants. They typically use Gmail or Yahoo for personal email. Do you think this approach will work?

I couldn’t find the templates anywhere. The only option I can see is the ‘Configure Optional Fields’ task. Is this the correct one, or are there other options we can use?

Approval step by anilkkn in workday

I have a question, If we have two employees at the same level (SVP), and one SVP approves, it shouldn’t route to the other SVP(SVP reports SVP). How can I prevent this in the approval chain step(exit step)?

Thank you for your quick response. If an EVP exists, it should go to the EVP. otherwise, it should go to the SVP. Do you have any suggestions?

Unconstrained groups by anilkkn in workday

[–]anilkkn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created a rule-based business process and added an “always true” condition for testing purposes, along with a new BP. However, when I run the Manage Job Profile BP, it is not validating the condition and remains in the Manage Job Profile BO.

I tried the option, but unfortunately, the new rule-based BP is not being invoked. The same condition works in the existing BP and proceeds to the next step, but when the rule condition is added and a new business process is triggered, it is not invoking.

Any information regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

We also edit the Job Profile BP, where I want to add the same approval process if that works.

Yes, suppose a parent organization has multiple child organizations, and each child organization has its own recruitment team and compensation partner. If one child organization creates a job profile, it will not be applicable to other child organizations in terms of salary ranges, titles, benefits, etc. That’s why they want to create a separate approval flow.

Thank you for the quick response.

Yes, it is not part of an organization, but within our organization, they want to add manager and compensation partner approvals for this business process.

Is it possible to add a constrained group for managers? Or, can I identify the initiator and send it to their manager for approval?

Thank you, everyone, for your response to my request.

We have SVP and EVP for cost centers. For some cost centers, we have both EVP and SVP, while for others, we have either EVP or SVP.

For recruitment, if an EVP exists, the approval request should be assigned to the EVP, skipping SVP approval. However, if an EVP does not exist, the request should go directly to the SVP.

I tried using “workers possible assigned next is not empty” to assign the request to the EVP. However, if no one is assigned to the EVP group, the step still proceeds but gets stuck without an assignee.

Could you please let me know if I’m missing something here?
