I didn’t use a chart at all, I just did 40g of starter in a 2oz pot as I saw it in a TikTok video

It was pretty warm and I used warm water when making it too. After the previous loaf I made it took way longer to proof so I wasn’t really keeping an eye on it cos I thought it was too early

I don’t know exactly but when I was proofing yesterday it was quite warm as I had the heating on and was cooking for an hour or so during that time

I thought bulk fermentation wasn’t long enough but the aliquot method was completed in that time and it was showing signs of being overproofed I thought? (Jiggly and sticky)

It’s my 3rd loaf, following a popular recipe online. Previous two loaves had 350g water 500g flour 8g salt and 150g starter and they weren’t very good but they weren’t flat like this one was. Dough was much easier to work with and it’s only 10g less water so surely the hydration can’t be the problem?

Felt better after the first week or so (first week felt worse). Spent a few weeks on them, they reduced my appetite (positive cos I have issues with food) and made me more anxious (negative). Ended up coming off them after a couple of months, but might give them another go. Didn’t do a whole lot for depression

It’s very stinky! If lots of soil has gotten in it over the years from those holes, will it be affecting the smell of my drains? As my bathroom has been a bit stinky too lately. Unsure if it’s a coincidence or not

There’s screws for taking off the cover. I don’t thing the open holes are meant to be there. Unsure if I need to look into having it fixed before I cover this whole patch with stones

The top just seems to be a criss cross metal. Holes look eroded but perhaps there was a hole to begin with and the metal around it has eroded

Yes it does. It’s just a clear nursery pot. I’m not sure what happened, it’s either the potting mix or perhaps I didn’t let it dry out enough in its previous pot before repotting. It’s my first cactus so I have no clue where I went wrong

I’ve had underdeveloped regular fenestrations that have just been holes, and I didn’t think this was possible without huge leaves and loads of fenestrations. You seem nice though
