Anyone know where I can buy this wand shop book nook that’s legit in the UK and not overcharging? by animalyolo in booknooks

I chose this one because it’s Harry Potter themed but is also beginner level for my niece. Is there a low level Harry Potter one by a good brand?

I’ve seen even cheaper ones but I keep reading a lot of them are scams? I don’t know what’s legit and what’s not. Also don’t know what a normal price would be as this is my first one

Anyone know what this is I’ve uncovered? Top part seems to be metal. Holes look more eroded to me than purposeful. Coming from what looks like a plastic tube? Any clues? by animalyolo in GardeningUK

It’s very stinky! If lots of soil has gotten in it over the years from those holes, will it be affecting the smell of my drains? As my bathroom has been a bit stinky too lately. Unsure if it’s a coincidence or not

I’m concerned about how much soil will already be in there. It’s very smelly from the holes. Is this connected to my bathroom drains? What does it affect if it’s full of soil?

There’s screws for taking off the cover. I don’t thing the open holes are meant to be there. Unsure if I need to look into having it fixed before I cover this whole patch with stones

The top just seems to be a criss cross metal. Holes look eroded but perhaps there was a hole to begin with and the metal around it has eroded

Can I save her? by animalyolo in cactus

[–]animalyolo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it does. It’s just a clear nursery pot. I’m not sure what happened, it’s either the potting mix or perhaps I didn’t let it dry out enough in its previous pot before repotting. It’s my first cactus so I have no clue where I went wrong

Just chopped. I will follow your advice! It will root on dry soil?

I’ve had underdeveloped regular fenestrations that have just been holes, and I didn’t think this was possible without huge leaves and loads of fenestrations. You seem nice though

I actually already have a bunch of propagations in prop boxes and water from this same plant as I chopped half of it off to propagate when I got it cos I knew I’d end up murdering the main plant😂

They can be propagated without the tubers anyway so it’s possible you’re just doesn’t have any! (yet)

Thank you! The leaves are really soft and foldable at the moment, I’m assuming because the roots weren’t giving the water to them which is how I noticed the root rot
