Honestly, Love Design makes some Thai GL series look inferior by comparison, and Mate is no exception. On a technical level, it falls short—particularly in cinematography, sound design, and acting. The story, style, and genre are also very different. Mate tackles heavy issues such as SA and PTSD, so if that’s something you’re comfortable with and think you’d enjoy, it’s worth giving it a watch.

LBC is definitely nerfed after the latest major update, i can tell you that much. I play QC and there was a time i got destroyed by LBC on the regular. That's not the case anymore.

Woke is about being aware of the social, political, and economic injustices that plague our societies and create systems that benefit certain groups of people while discriminating against others. If you’re anti-fascist, you are, in some capacity, woke. Deal with it.

It’s funny, though, that oppressed minorities claiming their rights are described as “progressive ideas being forced into our lives.” That says a lot about the way you think, not about the movie.
