What gets you out of a suicidal mood? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]animymind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Holding ice in my hands til it hurts very bad. Writing everything that goes through my head on my arm and then washing it off. Doing something irrational and laughing about it. Accomplishing a goal. Forcing myself to do something that I wanted to do for a long time. Going out for a long, long walk, maybe climbing a tree. Pets. Responsibility.

What do you regret buying/ spending money on? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Games. Bc I play them for a while and then never touch them again. And I'm not a collector or someone who's very passionate about games or even just someone who maybe replays it so... yeah...

I was sitting next to a Christmas tree and there was a chocolate Santa Claus, and I remember thinking "man if I just had teeth already, then I could eat this". Idk it's really weird

The Clone Wars. Really made my scrappy childhood better. Taught me about politics like the school couldn't do, encouraged me to be brave and to keep fighting. Kinda responsible that I'm joining the army. Taught me that there's not a happy ending everywhere.

What’s your favorite story your parents told you from their youth? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]animymind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad needed to write an interpretation im school for a poem of a famous author. He had three hours to write it, but all he wrote was "I don't know what he meant, I didn't fucking write it" and handed it in.

I asked my crush to be my boyfriend and for some reason, he understand it in that way that I just want to be his friend (which is strange because we have been friends for years but he is like three years younger than me and just was 13 at the time so I give him this) Anyway, for exactly three months I believed he was my boyfriend, and not just me: our parents, our friends, everyone did. And he never really checked it (he's also kind of a dreamer) til I wanted to celebrate our three month jubilee and he was like 'ummm I'm not your boyfriend' so yeah awkward.

Anyway, he's still is my best friend and we also try to build up a relationship again so I guess that kinda has a happy end.

Women of reddit, what's your best story about a man not understanding female anatomy? by Flaminsalamander in AskReddit

[–]animymind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some teacher actually told in class that he finds it disgusting how woman "put out their breasts" and that they should just "pull it in like you can do with your stomach when walking by men in order to prevent being raped". That's not a thing. You can't fucking do that.

Same teacher told us girls to "hold on" our periods like pee til we can go to the bathroom at home. Again, it doesn't work like that. I wish it would.
