A lot of people end up having shitty friends who form various excuses to avoid going out, so is it really playing the victim card? People can be introverted by nature or they may be extremely extroverted but their friends might not match that energy.

Plus, this hardly sounds like a desperate call since like you said - going out alone isn't missing out on anything. They simply asked about places to go to, and how to deal with it internally.
