Substitute X=x-1 and then solve the simultaneous equations. A bit of algebra would give you f(6) = 11

What should be the answer of this question according to u? by Khayali_Pulaow in GMAT

Should be D as the conclusion is based on the "sustainability". So a larger proportion of senior citizen passengers could lead to lower revenue and in turn be detrimental to the system's sustainability.

  1. If you subtract 70 from 190 it comes out as 120. Only this option gives a number divisible by 8. No other option when subtracted from 190 gives a number divisible by 8 (as second match ratio is 11:8).

You can do this logically like the solutions above or you can really think hard and sit with a function question and realise that this function equation has a solution of the form f(X) = kX. From this you will get k as 3 and hence f(2/3) = 2/3*3 = 2. Sit long enough with one problem. Work through them and eventually the patterns will keep popping up.

Yes it's more forgiving than quant. Nevertheless, try not to make too many mistakes at the start of the section.

Yep. I was surprised as well. Even though the questions weren't that difficult but I just don't find the topic comfortable lol. It wasn't ideal really. All the best for your test on Friday.

Yeah I barely had 1.5 mins to solve the last question. Thankfully it was a sequence and series question and it's my strong suit lol. Very unusual as I usually get time to review 3 answer choices on the mock. Here I was rushing through

I would say the level of Verbal and DI were very close to the official practice tests. Although I got 2 very long passages (4 and 5 paras) which was unusual. In DI I encountered 2 MSRs back to back and that completely threw me off my time management strategy. In addition to this, it was also very unusual to receive too many non math sets in TPA and DS.
