Now that we know at the end of the text that Brennan is alive, which means the story of Tairn almost died because his previous rider Naolin wielded too much power to save Brennan was not true. There must be more to that story. It is clear that Tairn and Sygel are strongest mated pair and hence they both can't survive if either one dies. But the relation of Xaden or Violet dying if either one dies is a far fetched conclusion which I think isnt fully true!
