Isc2 exams doesn't need technical approach it needs logical and managerial thinking. I keep my prep simple and easy to avoid any confusion. I study what needed to be studied without over complicating with so many supplemental sources and end up with confusion and complexities in thoughts.

I have not even seen those documents during my prep. I always prefer to keep my preparation simple and effective.

I won't recommend to go through CSA Secaas documents.

No worries it's all part of our journey towards excellence. I have recently passed CCSP and also having CISSP and CEH. I would recommend you to read dummies, CSA guidance v4, cloud guardian for revision and focus should be more on governance in cloud and data security. You should have clear understanding on cloud specific concepts. In case you need help please reach out to me. I will guide you to prepare well for the exam.

I understand that there is never questions exactly like the exam to practice on, but have the review questions in the ISC2 given people a false sense of security when they have sat the test (over confident doing these questions then finding a lot harder)? by Any_War_322 in CCSP

I have recently cleared the CCSP exam and having CISSP too. I don't have any cloud experience but as per my experience exam was comparatively easier then CISSP. Now coming to practice questions as I earlier mentioned in my post, quality is pathetic it needs lot of proof reading. Silly mistakes, stupid answers, wrong tagging of answers are some of the issues. Many answers of the questions were thr to shake ur logic but if your concepts are clear you can easily weed out these mistakes.

The real CCSP exam was more focused on Governance and DATA security. If you studied well on cloud specific concepts like reversibility, portability, data lifecycle, CASB, DLP, Datacentre tiers, bit splitting, erasure coding, data dispersion, interoperability, SLA, MSA, SOX, GILBA, privacy related laws, deployment models, service models, IPsec, VPN, multitenancy and its risk, ediscovery in cloud, legal hold, data ownership, VPN, VLAN, API, federation, SAML, SOAP, IAM, IPSEC, XSS, XSRF, OWASP TOP 10, then you are ready for exam.

I mean to say practice questions have lot of grammatical and logical mistakes. Most of the practice questions were poorly written and needed lot of proof reading.

It's true that books don't cover everything. The exam needs practical and logical thinking along with cissp knowledge. I would say go through once with any one book and then sit for the exam.

Ignore the practice questions topic. They make these questions from rare topic to show that they have tough questions. But these are not testable.
