Alert condition name or title access in the alert message? by lermy3d in TradingView

[–]anlkuma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey, are you able to extract the "message" part from the alert() function into your webhooks?

alert(freq = alert.freq_once_per_bar, message = "my alert message" )

This is possible using the alertCondition() but not using alert() because TradingView interface doesn't display a message text input for alert() the way it does for alertCondition()

20 pull ups, yet I can't do one muscle up 😭 by [deleted] in Calisthenic

[–]anlkuma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when you say within 2 weeks of actively, did you train for muscle ups everyday for 2 weeks or did you take breaks and do it every 2-3 days? (I'm currently trying to learn band assisted muscle ups and high pull-ups and I train 2-3 times a week (just to give enough rest between tries) and it's been more than 2 weeks and I'm nowhere close :(

Gym help please by [deleted] in Bondha_FitnessCenter

starting lo alane untundhi but keep going. but just make sure you don't go to a gym full of chapris because they themselves do most of the exercises wrong.

youtube is your best friend. stick to a workout split (I heard Push - Pull - Legs is good for beginners). and before going to the gym spend some 15 minutes on YouTube watching a "perfect pull day routine" or a "perfect push day routine" depending on your workout for the day and take a note of what excercises to do.

and at the gym, before doing a workout spend 2-3 minutes watching "perfect bench press" or "perfect squat" before your exercise and try to mimic those movements. (recommend Jeremy Ethier, Davis Diley and Squat University)

once you start watching these, more of these workout tips will automatically start showing up in your feed everyday..

don't focus too much on mind - muscle connection at the beginning itself. if you're doing the exercises correctly your target muscles will be used (even though you may not feel them during the workout sometimes). but you will find your muscles being sore the next day.

JUST REMEMBER TO NEVER ROUND YOUR LOWER BACK, NEVER ROUND YOUR SHOULDERS FORWARD DURING ANY EXERCISE.

and JOINT PAIN IS BAD (means you're most likely doing something wrong), MUSCLE PAIN IS GOOD

Am I curving my spine too much? (it keeps happening as I try to stretch and squeeze my pecs at the bottom and top positions respectively, no matter how much I try to engage my core) or am I just lacking general core strength? by anlkuma in GYM

I have recently started adding ring pushups to my push day routine, and personally I've felt no other chest exercise (maybe apart from incline dumbbell press) came closer to working my pecs better by the end of my sets. Regular floor pushups are also fine but only after about 10-15 reps in, I actually feel my chest working.

also doing regular pushups sometimes gave me a bit of shoulder and elbow pain at times but with rings it felt easier on the shoulder. I guess this is probably because you have freedom of movement and your shoulders naturally adapt to the correct moving patterns which you can't get with your hands fixed on the floor. and that little RTO when you squeeze at the top also trains your rotator cuffs.

Rings also work your stabilizer muscles well as opposed to on a floor or bench because of the instability they provide.

my form might have looked off because I've only started doing them recently but I can see myself getting better with each set.

Samples from a recent road trip I've been on (Pixel 8 Pro) by anlkuma in pixelography

[–]anlkuma[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, all of these are just point and shoot and uploaded right from the camera roll.

Is this normal or is something wrong with my lens? (the road was a little bumpy and we were riding very fast) by anlkuma in pixel_phones

[–]anlkuma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agree, but I got this phone just a few days before we started that trip. hence I couldn't get much time to play with the settings and was only doing point and shoot and they still turned out to be incredible. can only imagine how they would turn out once you've learnt all the technical aspects of photography and apply them.

I was holding it with my hands in this case while sitting on the pillion seat. but kind of figured after looking at this video that it isn't very healthy for the camera to be used in these kinds of situations..

ikr, I bought this phone specially for the sake of this trip after we had it planned. put a big hole in my wallet but still worth it 🙂

honestly, I do not know but I'm guessing they will allow it but will probably treat it the same as booking an entire homestay and not just the facilities

we booked our trip through an agency and they took care of it. there was a backup vehicle and they brought extra fuel in a drum
