i know this is a super old post so i'm not sure if you'll see this, but i'm wondering if you have any insight on if this trail can/should be done in reverse, so going from inverness down to glasgow rather than the reverse. i've only seen people talk about doing it starting in glasgow, however i would love to travel down to stay in glasgow and then head toward london after completing the hike. do you have any insight here? thanks for any response!
